In the role of Senior Technical Support Analyst - Investments, you will bring a strong foundation and exceptional understanding of investments systems and the Support Model required to ensure that our Investment Teams can manage our Fund for the benefit of HESTA members. Your background will be rich in understanding the concepts of risk modelling, data warehousing, performance and attribution, custodial arrangements, benchmark aggregation, etc.
Key Responsibilities: Execution of a Production Support Model - specifically, hands-on Tier 1 and Tier 2 support.The trade lifecycle - from order generation to settlement.Investment systems - Risk systems - BarraOne, Jacobi, Bloomberg EMSX, GoldenSource (or a similar warehousing system), SimCorp Dimension (or a similar portfolio management system).
You will have experience working in Investments or Superannuation and/or have strong experience supporting Investment Systems. You will provide close (i.e.: hands-on) administrative, technical and functional support to the HESTA Investment Management and HESTA Investment Operations business units. You will assist with running our IDS Support Function and be 'frontline' in engaging with our key business stakeholders.
Finally, you will partner closely with your colleagues in HESTA Investment Data and Systems Change Delivery and HESTA Technology to ensure that issues, outages and queries against HESTA Investment Systems are addressed effectively, enabling superior investment decisions to be made and executed for the benefit of HESTA members.
With well-developed stakeholder management skills and the ability to build successful partnerships and networks, you have advanced functional knowledge of the investments domain (asset classes, the trade lifecycle and investment and risk systems) and have the cognitive and verbal fluency necessary to draw on this expertise to recommend, advocate and implement solutions to process and systems issues. Your expertise in this area is likely to have been developed in a similar technical support role in an investments context AND/OR as a Business or Test Analyst role.
