Working with the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the delivery and installation of products to customers and be a key player within our operations team, working with a multi-functional team of hardware and software support professionals.
The role Provide high quality technical support to Wenco International Mining's customers.Work with a cross-function team of hardware and software support professionals to deploy and support Wenco's suite of productsClient Record/document management Project Management Assistance throughout new projectsPlan and practice for system implementation and upgrade projectsPerform implementation and upgradesLiaise & coordinate resources from mine sites/officeTo be successful in this role you will have: Tertiary degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or related IT disciplineSQL experience – essential Proven skills of maintaining technology – Wenco technology would be advantageousExperience within the Mining industry with exposure to Machine Guidance systemsThe ability to install and support complex IT systems in the fieldHands-on hardware and software system level troubleshootingAn understanding of wireless and radio propagation principlesProven analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAn ability to clearly communicate technical conceptsWilling to learn new technologies and new ways of approaching projectsFrequent travel to remote mine sites will be requiredHere at Hitachi, we believe that success comes from the partnership of our market-leading products and the quality of our people.
