Are you a high-performing tech recruiter looking for an opportunity to make an impact in a rapidly growing, award-winning, and well-funded SaaS business that is disrupting a multi-billion-dollar industry? The Role We are looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter who will truly lead the technical recruiting function internally. You are a trailblazer who leverages your already-established network to bring in top talent to Karbon. You are also highly connected in the recruitment industry, a self-starter who is willing to actively sell candidates on "why" Karbon and not rely on our already strong inbound candidate pipeline alone. Reporting to the VP of People & Places, you'll be instrumental in further building our amazing tech talent in Australia and abroad. This is an office-based role at our new office on Pitt Street.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of technical talent acquisition processes and strategies to support a robust pipeline of top tech talent, with the majority of hires in engineering and product primarily in Australia and the Philippines, with some hires also in USA.Partner with leaders (your clients) within Karbon to provide guidance, coaching, and support in all recruitment matters, developing interviewing skills and scaffolding them as neededLead the full cycle recruitment efforts for the highest priority requisitions - screening, interviewing, reference checks, and providing recommendations for business leadersAct as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technical talent with a focus on operational excellence for every step of the recruitment process (new positions intake, JDs, pre-screening, interview scorecards, offer communication, etc.)Maintain an excellent candidate experience, ensuring you are communicating to all candidates (regardless of status) every step of the wayFully utilize Greenhouse to the greatest degree, being able to easily report on key metrics like 'time to hire' etc.Ensure the timely processing of all external recruitment programs (reference and background checks etc.) and provide results to hiring managers while offering an understanding of the resultsDrive improvements to increase the quality of hires (measured by objective metrics) through data-driven experimentationLeverage and analyze data and recruitment Reports to effectively partner with the people team and broader businessYou are ideal for this role if you Thrive in ambiguity: You are joining an early stage (series B) where priorities can (and will) shift, and you'll need to adapt quickly.Plan ahead: You work with the team and business to forecast needs and develop a hiring plan that will accelerate the companyAre honest, trustworthy, and ultimately a good person: You build meaningful and credible relationships with your teammates and key stakeholders, leading by example and not ego.Like working with numbers: You aren't afraid to dive into spreadsheets and develop meaningful dashboards, always tinkering with ways to improve.Exemplify excellence: You hold yourself to high standards, seeking both personal growth and also growing your team via coaching and thoughtful career conversations.Experience and Qualifications 3+ years experience within technical recruitingGlobal and technical recruitment experience a mustPrevious experience using Greenhouse or similar to its fullest capacityWilling to be agile across high-level tasks and full-cycle recruitment activitiesExcellent ability to negotiate employment termsAble to operate autonomously and deliver exceptional client serviceA true networker who attends industry events and able to promote our company brandSolid understanding of the recruitment process and candidate journeyPassionate about building a diverse and inclusive culture.Experience using full G-suite software.Acute attention to detail and a high bar for quality.Why work at Karbon?
