The role As the Senior Technical Officer Planning and Maintenance, you'll provide expert technical advice on standards, performance, and reliability of our assets. You'll guide and mentor Technical Planning Officers, support emergency response operations, and ensure thorough risk assessments for internal and external works. You'll manage sewer service contracts, oversee preventative maintenance, and lead key projects. This role combines leadership, contract administration, and collaboration to ensure the effective planning and delivery of services across our network. What you'll bring
Experience in the water industry or a similar technical field. Strong background in managing maintenance plans and budgets. Proven ability to solve complex problems and implement effective solutions. Leadership in managing service contracts, with a focus on maintenance. Ability to guide and mentor internal teams and collaborate with external stakeholders, including contractors.
