The role The Senior Technical Officer Major Systems assists the Senior Engineer and team with the management of Gippsland Water's major assets and resources.
You will provide continuity and quality of services to the team, customers, key stakeholders and major industry throughout our service area, whilst ensuring that all activities are delivered in a timely manner and undertaken in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements and industry guidelines.
What you'll bring Successful leadership and motivation of people and the development of high performing teams.
Ability to engage and influence wider stakeholders in implementing improvement initiatives.
Experience in the management of infrastructure assets and comprehensive asset risk management.
Project management experience in the delivery of capital improvement or complex maintenance projects.
Demonstrated analytical skills appropriate to effective problem solving.
Demonstrated experience in operational emergency management.
