Senior technical offer role within Swinburne University Full time, 5-month fixed term position at our Hawthorn campus HEW 6 salary + 17% super About the Role   The Swinburne University of Technology VET space is looking for a Senior Technical Officer to join their team.
The Senior Technical Officer is tasked with offering specialized technical support and guidance related to Trades and Engineering Technology equipment, and programs.
Reporting to the Team Leader, Technical Support, the Senior Technical Officer oversees the maintenance of TET facilities and manages designated workshop materials, machinery, and equipment on a daily basis.
This role is multifaceted and demands a high level of initiative and self-management to effectively handle various functions and responsibilities.

About You   To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:  Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain professional standards at all times Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to improvise and use initiative to achieve an outcome Demonstrated capacity to work independently, exercising sound judgement, applying professional maturity and use of initiative to foresee and prevent potential problems Qualifications Extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical field  About Swinburne University of Technology  Swinburne Horizon 2025 draws upon our understanding of future challenges.
