KOJO has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Manager to join our national team, based in Brisbane.

About the Role: This role is responsible for overseeing all technical requirements for QLD and providing leadership to KOJO's work nationally as part of our technical and production teams. You will also:
Be responsible for technical delivery of KOJO's event presentations, including sports and clubs in QLD. Input on technical design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of installed infrastructure and Fly Away Kits in venues like Kayo Stadium and AB Field. Lead QLD technical and content teams, ensuring systems are ready for events and adequately resourced on Event Days. Manage the maintenance of a full range of modern broadcast production systems, including, but not limited to: SMPTE and RF Camera Chains HD-SDI vision switchers and routers Riedel Mediornet and Dante signal transport systems Matric intercom systems Audio systems, including digital consoles, wireless mics, IEM systems, on-field foldback, and PA Network-based system integration and control Hub production facilities Virtual production systems Be a point of escalation for technical teams, offering creative solutions to meet production deadlines and budgets. Provide recommendations to senior management on workflow efficiencies and cost savings. Collaborate with the Head of Technical Services and senior technical leadership team for national technical oversight. Ensure efficient use and movement of equipment and resources across KOJO events, coordinating with the Operations & Logistics Coordinator. Conduct regular reporting and communication with KOJO Sport Management Team for forward planning and resource allocation. Adapt to changing client and event requirements, including non-standard work hours, occasional interstate and international travel. About you: Strong planning, documenting, and fault-finding skills. Keen interest in staying updated with advancements in broadcast and in-stadia technology. Comfortable with both management and operational roles, including hands-on project delivery. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Capable of building strong relationships with clients, ensuring KOJO is viewed as a valued technical and production partner. Excellent communicator, able to connect with the broader KOJO team and positively influence the business. Willingness to adapt to changing deliverables based on client and event needs. Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including weekends, and travel interstate or internationally when necessary. We value team members who can handle multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure without compromising quality and whilst keeping a sense of humour.
