Job DescriptionHow will I help? The Group Customer Master (GCM) Team is an Enterprise Application Team, supporting the Westpac Group's Customer Information Systems, such as OCH / UCM (Oracle Customer Hub / Universal Customer Master), CIS, GCIS, and Customer Domain APIs.
We service every Brand in the Bank, and every Line of Business.
The Technical BA sits within the GCM Team.
It is a hybrid Technical Business Analyst and Data Analyst function, that will primarily support the GCM Simplification Program.
You may also be working across multiple smaller projects across the GCM LOB (Lines-Of-Business) Teams.
Your project assignment will be based on business needs and will be determined by your Line Manager, so it is important you are highly flexible, adaptable and versatile.
What do I need? At least 5 years of experience (combined) across the following fields: Business Analysis, Technical Analysis, and Data Analysis.Tertiary qualifications in Business / Information Technology or equivalent experience.Knowledge and practical experience in Project Management, Business Analysis and Data Analysis disciplines, processes, best practices, tools, and techniques.Process and data analysis, mapping, and re-engineering experience.Solid proven and practical experience in Data Analysis (e.g.
data lineage analysis, A-C mapping, data profiling, data querying), Data Migration, Data Profiling projects and work.Systems Integration and Migration Experience with exposure to various integration technologies.
API experience is highly regarded.SQL skillset would be very beneficial for this role and some basic SQL experience is required.Agile principles and best practices and how to write robust and complete user stories and acceptance criteria.Senior-level experience in Functional, Data, Technology Service Specification Writing.Practical experience in delivering end-to-end Agile and Waterfall Projects, including exposure to all related delivery processes, principles, best practices, tools, and techniques.A strong understanding of, and experience in, Technology and Business Systems strategically and operationally.Excellent Communication, Requirements Analysis, Technical Analysis, Data Analysis and Technical / Functional Documentation Skills.Exceptional Attention to Detail and Problem-Solving Skills.The ability to deliver to tight timelines in a team-based, complex environment, with a high level of resilience.A high level of flexibility and adaptability and be able to respond to a very dynamic project environment.What's it like to work there?
