What you will be doing: Exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. Creating tools to improve art and software pipelines. Assembly and organization of many game assets. Primarily visual elements. Runtime animation inside of Unity. May include 2D/3D character rigging and animation, particle animation, dynamic elements such as player facing messaging and UI. Sequencing of runtime choreography for game elements and transitions between scenes. Ability to receive constructive feedback and eager to learn. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to meet deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible to the ever-changing environment of a fast-growing company. Skills/Requirements: Ability to create shaders. Knowledge of art optimization techniques. Bachelor's degree in computer science/Media Art and Animation or equivalent work experience. Mid-level technical artist with 2-3 years of experience. Create tools for the graphics team. Ability to accurately rig 2D/3D characters. Photoshop / Illustrator / After Effects proficiency. Maya or other 3D program experience. Also would be great if you could: Have excellent communication skills and organizational skills. Can take and give constructive feedback. Have previous gaming industry experience. Work on multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible to the ever-changing environment of a fast-growing company. Be self-motivated and proactive to get stuff done. Please note that this position requires your presence in our office in Macquarie Park, NSW Australia as the work cannot be done remotely.
