Senior Technical Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Technical Accountant to manage and oversee technical accounting operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting, analyzing complex financial transactions, and providing technical accounting guidance.
This is a critical role that requires strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of insurance accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee technical accounting activities, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Analyze and interpret complex financial transactions and statements.
Provide technical accounting guidance and support to internal teams and stakeholders.
Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and examinations.
Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and assess their impact on the company.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent professional certification.
Proven experience as a Senior Technical Accountant or similar role, preferably within the insurance industry.
In-depth knowledge of insurance accounting practices, standards, and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
