As a Senior Teaching Fellow (Occupational Therapy), you will play a pivotal role in enriching our students' learning experiences. Key responsibilities include:
Inspire and Educate: Lead classroom learning, teaching, and clinical practice education. Engage in Clinical Workshops: Participate in a variety of clinical workshops, assessments, and supervision. Be Part of a Collaborative Team: Join a team dedicated to producing superior quality learning experiences for our Master of Occupational Therapy students. This role is perfect for early career academics or clinicians looking to transition into academia, where your clinical experience will directly enhance the education of the next generation of Occupational Therapists.
About the person
We are looking for a registered Occupational Therapist with:
AHPRA Registration: as an Occupational Therapist and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Clinical Experience: experience in Occupational Therapy practice, demonstrating strong expertise in the field. Teaching & Academic Commitment: experience or dedication to teaching Occupational Therapy students in a higher education environment, with a passion for fostering student success. Interpersonal & Collaboration Skills: engage effectively with students, colleagues, and healthcare stakeholders in an inter-disciplinary setting, contributing to a positive learning and working environment. This is a full-time, fixed-term 2-year appointment with a salary commencing at $104,398.58 per annum, plus 17.5% superannuation. Salary Packaging options are available for eligible employees.
Location: based at The Bond Institute of Health and Sport, Robina, located in the Robina Health precinct. The complex has world-class teaching facilities, including a teaching kitchen, gait lab, simulated hospital ward, activities of daily living lab, and work play lab, equipped with the latest technology and interprofessional learning spaces. Some travel between Bond University locations is required.
