Role Overview: The Senior Physics Teacher will deliver Foundation Physics courses as well as Diploma courses equivalent to UNSW PHYS1121 and PHYS1131 in the form of lectures, tutorials, laboratories and consultations. The role will include setting and marking of examinations and other assessments, the development of teaching materials, curriculum review and administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to: Effectively coordinate and deliver Physics courses and lectures Delivering tutorials and other small group workshops and consultations by employing a mix of high impact teaching strategies that promote student engagement, comprehension and progression Organising of and demonstrating in laboratories and marking laboratory reports and related assessments Assist in the development, overseeing, and maintenance of a range of appropriate formative and summative assessment tools such as assignments, reflective exercises, project work, quizzes, interviews, and high-stakes exams, which explicitly address Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) and Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs). What We're Looking For: Degree and/or post-graduate teaching qualifications in relevant subject area Excellent oral and written communications skills including high level cross-cultural communication skills.
