Following the completion of a comprehensive Strategic Review in May 2024, it was announced that Perpetual Limited will become a standalone Asset Management business and has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) who will acquire the Corporate Trust and Wealth Management businesses.

Corporate trust supports clients locally and overseas with a unique offering through five key service offerings: Debt Market Services; Managed Fund Services; Perpetual Asia, headquartered in Singapore; Perpetual Digital, and Laminar Capital.
About the role Join our dynamic team at Perpetual Corporate Trust! As the Senior Tax Manager you will:
Ensure compliance with all areas of Corporate Tax returns at PCT are completed within strict timeframe;Review and/or complete tax accounting tasks, including monthly tax effect accounting and reports, monthly/yearly tax forecast, half year end/year-end tax calculations and disclosures for financial reports;Ensure on-time tax lodgments and respond to regulatory authority queries;Manage and complete ad hoc projects as required from Senior Management;Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and minimize tax risks. About you We're looking for someone with:
7+ years corporate tax experience gained at Big 4 accounting firm followed by Corporate Tax experience in a top 300 public listed corporation in Australia;Strong tax compliance/accounting skills in Australian direct (e.g. income tax) and indirect taxes (e.g. GST, FBT, stamp duty and payroll tax);Strong understanding of Australian tax law in both direct and indirect taxes;Degree in Commerce/Accounting;CA/CPA qualified;Master of Taxation (preferred).
