Job DescriptionESV has entered an exciting growth phase and has seen significant growth in our Corporate Tax offering to our client base to the extent we are looking for a Senior Tax Manager to take the lead of our dynamic Corporate Tax Cell.
We are a market leader in providing business advisory and taxation services to businesses, family groups, and high-net-worth individuals.
Our clients range from dynamic start-ups to listed entities, large family groups, and inbounds.
Our tax team provides strategic tax consulting in the areas of:
Corporate and international taxReviewing tax provisionsDeferred tax calculationsPreparation of detailed memorandums of advice (we do some really interesting work)Tax controversyIf you thrive on seeking solutions for your clients and are keen to grow and learn with an evolving team, this opportunity may be the one you have been looking for.
What you'll be doing Manage your own portfolioWIP managementWork directly with clientsAssisting Partners with preparation of corporate tax adviceContribute to internal projects – which drive innovation at our firmMentor members of the teamWhat you need to succeed Eight years' + experience in a professional accounting practice in a Business Advisor / Tax roleCompleted your CA or CPA (or equivalent)Understand current tax legislation, principles, and reporting requirementsGood technical, problem-solving, and analytical skillsClear communication style - you'll chat with colleagues and clients via email, telephone, Teams, and face to faceDesire to learn and to maintain technical knowledge.Ability to build long-lasting client relationshipsExperience with working to budgets, meeting productivity targets, and an ability to train and mentor junior team membersProven ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines and strong stakeholder managementA self-starter who can manage autonomous work as well as sharing ideas to drive team culture and successWhat we promise to provide Hybrid work environmentExtensive internal and external learning opportunities to support your development.
