The Client This US-Headquartered multinational in the Environmental Services field has a strong presence in the Australian market and is looking to hire a Senior Tax Manager to lead on tax in Australia, New Zealand, PNG, and Singapore.
About the Role Reporting to the Global Head of Taxation in the US, and with a strong dotted line into the local CFO, you will support the group's Australian business along with entities across the Asia Pacific region with tax compliance and reporting, major projects, and Transfer Pricing.
In this business-partnering oriented role, you will have significant experience managing multiple internal and external stakeholders in a matrix-driven environment, taking ownership of taxation across the region and supervising one direct report.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include Preparation and review of the Australian consolidated income tax return, tax provisioning, and GST filings;Collaborating with external providers to oversee the filing of Asia Pacific tax returns;Assisting with CbCR, BEPS, and Pillar Two calculations, also having involvement in major Transfer Pricing projects;Conducting tax research and monitoring legislative changes, working with the global tax group to implement company policy changes where necessary;Working closely with internal teams globally as well as external advisors to develop tax strategy and drive process improvement in the local tax function.About You 8+ years' tax experience with at least some working in a commercial organization;Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field;CA or CPA qualified, with MTax beneficial;Technologically literate and experienced with major ERP systems (CAP, SAI, Oracle);A strong understanding of international taxation and basic Transfer Pricing principles;Experience working with both local and international stakeholders.On offer Salary package flexible, ~$180,000 + Super dependent on experience;12 weeks parental leave for primary carer (6 weeks for non-primary carer);Novated leasing opportunity;Exclusive health insurance discounts;Hybrid working arrangements.How to Apply For more information or a confidential discussion please call Callum McWhinnie at u&u on 02 8245 7924 quoting reference number 39488.
