The Senior Tax Accountant reports to a Partner with a background within Big 4 international firms. The professional development inherent to working with top-level Partners is readily apparent to those who aspire to launch beyond garden-variety compliance.
Success in this role will necessarily be underpinned by:
Chartered or CPA qualifications Minimum of five years experience in a professional tax practice Competence in Division 7A Experience in assisting with the development of tax planning An understanding of SMSF interaction with tax optimisation Confidence in preparation of financial statements and tax returns for multi-entity groups comprising companies, partnerships, trusts, and individuals Excellent written and verbal communication skills Career progression is offered to those prepared to look outside of the compliance bunker and take the long view - for clients and themselves.
