About the Role
You will be a qualified CA/CPA accountant and a strategic thinker, who is resilient with a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to deliver a range of high-quality compliance and business advisory services to clients including:
Advanced taxation and accounting principles knowledge, with the ability to conduct in-depth research and problem-solve.
Proficiency in preparing financial accounts, income tax returns, activity statements, and other financial documentation to a high standard.
Ability to prepare budgets, cashflows, and business planning documents, along with providing strategic tax planning and business structure advice.
Strong practical knowledge of accounting software like MYOB, Reckon, Xero, and QuickBooks, enabling effective client support and system advice.
Experience in assisting clients with audits, compliance issues, and licensing applications, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
About You
You'll be a people person and adaptable with the ability to clearly convey complex information, handle sensitive situations diplomatically, and build strong relationships with clients and team members. Capable of guiding and developing team members, providing constructive feedback, and leading by example even without a formal leadership title.
Open to change, flexible in approach, and able to work collaboratively across teams to achieve shared goals. You will embody exceptional customer service and collaboration to effectively communicate and influence business improvement outcomes at the Senior level.
