Our firm focuses on providing personalised business and taxation advice to a varied client base.ABOUT THE ROLEYour primary responsibilities will be the preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, and business activity statements for taxpayers of various structures including trusts, companies, partnerships, and individuals. You will have a strong client focus with direct client contact, providing general accounting, tax & business support to them. This role reports to the director, providing mentoring to the right candidate.REQUIREMENTS3-5 years minimum experience in public practiceTAFE/University QualifiedExperience using MYOB AEStrong knowledge of MYOB AccountRight and XeroStrong knowledge of Microsoft ExcelStrong technical knowledge of accounting and taxation fundamentalsAbility to prepare financial statements and income tax returns to review stage, including preparation of detailed working papersAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamMust have own transportYour application will include the following questions:Which of the following accounting packages are you experienced with?Do you have professional experience preparing income tax returns?How many years of accounting experience do you have?What's your expected annual base salary?Do you have experience using Xero?Do you have experience completing Business Activity Statements (BAS)?How many years of taxation experience do you have?Do you have experience using MYOB?
