Apply Senior Systems & Security Administrator Sydney, Australia Permanent $120000 - $140000 per annum Headquartered in Macquarie Park, a nationwide Australian brand is looking to hire a Senior Systems Administrator to their team.
Reporting to the CIO, the Senior Systems Administrator will demonstrate all round technical experience across modern Microsoft technologies as well as a strong security focus to be able to help the company on their cyber security journey.
The company has been around for 50 years and is continuing to grow, increasing their presence across Australia and New Zealand.
This is an important position within the company as successful candidate will have heavy input into the future of the Infrastructure & Systems, including modernization and security posture.
What you will be doing: - Play a senior role in the enhancement of infrastructure, services, modernisation and security initiatives - Manage and maintain the IT Systems Environment - Modern Microsoft Technologies - Continually find ways to improve the company's security operations and increased Essential 8 compliance - Develop and deliver business aligned technology roadmaps - Oversee and develop a proactive security framework - Cultivate relationships with teams & stakeholders - Effective leadership and mentoring of junior engineers What you need to succeed: - Proven experience as a Senior Systems Administrator - Demonstrated hands-on security experience - Essential 8, XDR, Defender, SIEM - Technical proficiency across the MS stack - M365, EntraID, Azure - Experience with broader infrastructure ( Servers, Storage, Virtualisation ) - Experience securing environments - Firewalls, Vulnerability Management - Experience with project delivery - Knowledge of industry best practices such as ITIL - Excellent communication skills both oral and written If you think you can be the one to to shine in this role please APPLY now for a confidential chat!
