We're looking for a Senior Systems Engineer (Microsoft/Windows) to manage and optimize key infrastructure systems, using your expertise in Microsoft technologies to enhance and secure our IT environment.
Key Responsibilities: Provide escalation support for both local and remote team members.Senior figure within the Systems Engineering team.Design, implement, and secure server and desktop virtualization technologies, including VMware/ESXi, RDS, and related software and hardware.Manage and deploy cloud infrastructure systems and platforms with a focus on Azure, ensuring secure and seamless operations.Configure and maintain core Windows infrastructure services such as Office 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, DHCP/DNS, DFS/CIFS, file and print services, backup, and antivirus, adhering to IT security policies.Enable and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, including cloud Single Sign-On (SSO), federation, privileged identity management, and IAM governance.Oversee and support the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).Ensure the lifecycle management of infrastructure, compute, and application software.Ideal Candidate:
You will bring at least 7 years of experience in systems engineering, with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies.
Advanced skills in securing, hardening, and automating Active Directory environments, as well as Office 365 and Azure security.Solid experience working with PKI, SSL, IAM, Azure CAS, SSO, SAML, OAuth, and OpenID infrastructure and services.Experience deploying and maintaining Endpoint Protection systems.Any hands-on experience configuring and deploying Cisco UCS, VMware, NetApp, RDS/VDI, Commvault Backup, SCCM, and Intune is also beneficial.
