About the PositionThe Senior Systems Engineer - Signalling Systems position is responsible for providing specialist technical and broad strategic advice on Signalling, Communications & Train Control Systems (TCS), including asset upgrade, integration, new technology and interfaces with other signalling and Operational Control Systems (OCS). This position is based at 700 Collins Street and we can offer the successful candidate either a 4 or 5 day working week.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation of signalling, train control and communication scope documentation for specific activities/works.Develop and maintain System Engineering documentation and design for signalling, train control and communications systems.Design and develop testing platforms suitable for integration of all railway signalling components.Lead the integration (factory and site) and validation and verification (V&V) activities for signalling/train control or communications systems for specific project activities.Undertake assigned work duties to ensure their completion on time, within budget, with all project risks mitigated and effect on train operations whilst ensuring that construction standards are maintained and conform to safety, reliability and quality.About YouTertiary qualification in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.MTM Statement of Competency - Control System and Communications Senior Engineer.Significant experience in railway signalling systems, and delivery in signalling and/or train control projects.Strong experience in delivering signalling system technical based solutions and/or project outcomes.Click apply to submit your application by 11.59pm, Wednesday 20 November 2023.
