Job DescriptionOur Joint Command Support Environment (JCSE) is a complex system of systems used to plan, monitor and conduct military campaigns, operations, joint exercises and other activities to meet Australia's national objectives.
Our Canberra-based team ensures that critical information reaches the right people at the right time, directly impacting ground operations.
This project requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and, ideally, have a current NV-2 level security clearance.
Working together with our Leidos Team and the customer, this position will: Plan, conduct, and coordinate system engineering activities for designated projects.Prepare and present at engineering reviews.Contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects.Apply technical principles, theories, and concepts across various disciplines.Convert customer or product requirements into comprehensive system solutions.Design solutions based on business and technical requirements, considering trade-offs and cost/benefit analyses.QualificationsThe successful applicant will understand the business context, identify issues, interpret client needs, and deliver outcomes. Ideally, this person will have:
A relevant degree or equivalent experience/education.MCSA certification.Professional experience with relevant technologies and domains:Including ITIL frameworks, certificate authorities, mobile device management, directory services, storage systems, servers, VDI, virtualisations, networks, firewalls, public cloud, IPS, automation, and orchestration.Experience with data centre virtualisation technologies (VMware & Citrix).Ability to complete the analysis and diagnostics of third-tier support.Additional InformationThis role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and ideally have a current NV2 level security clearance.
