About Us WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) is a not-for-profit organisation that operates 3 of the 31 Primary Health Networks (PHNs) spread across Australia.

This role supports datacentre operations per ISO27001 standards and maintains technologies like Microsoft Entra, Microsoft 365 Suite, and others.
This role will be offered as an on-going position on a full-time basis and offers the flexibility to work from home and office.
Key tasks and responsibilities: Identify, develop, and maintain technical improvements to enhance business performance (ITIL methodology and ISO27001 standards).
Manage and maintain configurations and ongoing administration for: - Microsoft Entra - Microsoft 365 - Apple devices and mobile device management - Microsoft Licensing and Operating System deployment - Dell and HP hardware and firmware - Microsoft Intune - MSSQL and SQL servers - Tenable - SharePoint - Palo Alto SD-WAN, Next Gen Firewall, and Cortex XDR - Barracuda Sentinel - VMware ESXi Design, build, and implement high-quality, resilient, efficient, and scalable solutions.
Manage and maintain network monitoring, remediation, health checks, troubleshooting, and deployment checks.
Support testing initiatives, user adoption, and operational support for defect resolution.
Maintain accurate and auditable documentation in Confluence and service records in Jira Service Management.
Manage and maintain vulnerability monitoring systems, servers, and networks for incursions.
Maintain Data Loss Prevention Policies in Microsoft Purview.
Create, update, and maintain as-built policies and standard operating procedures (ISO 27001 Technology controls).
Investigate and maintain AI technologies for efficiency and customer experience improvements.
Liaise with third-party providers, suppliers, and external clients.
Manage digital assets, ensuring consistent performance and service quality.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
Consult and coach project teams and business leaders on technology capability and support.
Apply WAPHA Digital Health Strategy to support change management and adoption of new technologies.
About you To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following selection criteria: Essential experience and education Tertiary qualification or latest certification in a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in: - Network security and securing Windows environments (familiarity with Essential 8 and/or NIST frameworks).
- Server Virtualisation (VMware and Hyper-V).
- Administration of Microsoft Azure and OpenAI.
- Administration of Office 365 and Entra.
- Administration of endpoint protection tools (e.g., Palo Alto Cortex XDR).
- Administration of mobile device management tools (e.g., Microsoft Intune).
- Data protection regimes (e.g., Veeam).
- Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and switching, VLAN configuration, WiFi).
Familiarity with leading brands of networking and security appliances (e.g., Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
At least 2 years of experience of working in an ISO27001 certified environment.
At least 2 years of experience in MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or any other relevant vendor certifications would be considered a significant advantage.
