Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology)

Role
Our client is looking for a Systems Analyst Professional to design, create, evaluate and document ICT solutions in new and existing ICT systems. You may propose modifications to the existing systems and processes, or design new systems to meet user needs as expressed in requirements documentation or user stories.
As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for translating business needs into ICT system requirements and specifications for enhancements. This includes designing, analysing, and documenting software systems to meet business expectations. You will also be responsible for writing functional specifications from the business requirements.
Responsibilities
Key duties may include, but are not limited to:
Perform detailed analysis and evaluation of business processes and requirements. Create solution designs and implement solutions to meet business needs. Create and maintain solution documents. Support daily operations and monitor performance of business solutions. Adhere to delivery and support methodologies and contribute ideas for improvement. Perform detailed technical application assessments considering feasibility, resource effort, risks, and benefits. Conduct testing activities such as test planning, execution coverage reviews, and defect management. Collaborate with stakeholders to define tasks, resolve issues, solve problems, and ensure effective and timely implementation of projects. Undertake project quality management tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design, and testing documents. Review research, process models, and documentation of other staff, providing guidance and feedback. Resolve or escalate issues as required and suggest alternative approaches and solutions. Perform cost analysis activities as required. Manage the life cycle of changes and improvements to the system. Manage a team to increase performance and engagement through: Coaching Capability development Performance management Health and well-being support Set priorities, manage resources, and assist with the development of work plans. Exercise delegations in line with legislation and guidelines as required. Minimum Requirements
Demonstrated experience of a minimum of two (2) years working as a SAP Technical Analyst in a large-scale SAP Australian Public Sector environment or similar.

Demonstrated experience of a minimum of two (2) years working as a SAP Technical Analyst in a large-scale SAP Australian Public Sector environment or similar. Due to the nature of this role, this job is open to Australian Citizens only. Candidates must be able to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance. Baseline, NV1/NV2 Security Clearance holders are also welcome to apply.
