Internal only opportunity for a full time, fixed term Senior Systems Administrator until April 2025.
Reporting to the Senior Systems Administrator, the Systems Administrator is a key role providing a range of systems administration guidance and support to ensure optimal operations of all the BHI's PCT and Payroll systems and effective implementation of systems improvements. The role involves the provision of high-level customer service and support to broader HR and Payroll system users through advice, training and development of relevant reports and timely responses to enquiries.
Systems Administrator is responsible for the maintenance of the suite of Systems including but not limited to Protecht, Ascender Pay/Extend, Employee Self-Service (WSS), HR Onboard and e-Recruit.
This position works collaboratively with the broader Finance, Payroll and PCT teams, in an integrated way, to address operational issues, reporting primarily to the Payroll Manager and with matrix reporting to the Senior Workforce Metrics & Reporting on HR related matters and the Associate Director Safety Inclusion and Wellbeing on HSW related matters. The role supports the implementation of improved PCT and Payroll business processes and systems innovation to ensure maximum efficiency and effective use of BHI's PCT/Payroll systems. It also contributes to PCT/Payroll information-based projects to ensure relevant executives have the information required to plan for, implement and monitor the performance of specific operational projects.
The role forms part of the broader PCT and Finance, Procurement and Payroll teams, which are dynamic groups focused on process efficiency, quality outcomes, productive partnerships and a commitment to professionalism and continuous improvement. The teams are responsible for compliance with government regulations and the BHIG's financial policies and procedures by providing high quality advice and support to managers and employees engaged in PCT/Payroll transactions throughout the organisation.
Salary for this role is PACCT 6.3 $88,117.08 plus compulsory superannuation. About You: Current Box Hill Institute Employee Relevant qualification and/or experience within a similar role Demonstrated extensive experience in PCT/Payroll systems, including analysing and developing customised reports for clients and administer system maintenance Well developed time management skills with the ability to plan, negotiate and prioritise a heavy workload whilst balancing competing and complex organisational needs, maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines Identifies and understands how various processes within BHI integrate and understands the long-term impact of particular courses of action on the work area's objectives Ability to identify opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement opportunities and ways to innovate and encourages others to do the same Uses conceptual and analytical skills to resolve complex issues and the development of solutions to improve associated business processes Well developed written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders Enthusiastic and committed with a demonstrated capacity for sustained effort and hard work, setting high standards for performance of self and others, contributing to a dynamic and proactive work environment About Us:
