Period of Appointment Permanent Hours per fortnight 73.50 Hours Per Fortnight Duties Provide high level customer service, expert technical support and life cycle management of DPFEM commercial software products. Administer DPFEM's Database Management Systems. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members. Essential Requirements Pre-Employment Checks   The Head of the State Service has determined that a person nominated for appointment to this position is to satisfy a pre-employment check before taking up the appointment, promotion or transfer. Any relevant serious criminal offence or repeated serious offences over any period, which are not mitigated by additional information, may provide grounds for declining an application for appointment. Such offences would include, but are not limited to: Arson and fire setting; Sexual offences; Dishonesty (e.g. theft, burglary, breaking and entering, fraud); Deception (e.g. obtaining an advantage by deception); Making false declarations; Violent crimes and crimes against the person; Malicious damage and destruction to property Trafficking of narcotic substance; False alarm raising. Desirable Requirements Professional IT knowledge gained through satisfactory completion of a relevant course of study at a tertiary institution and/or appropriate industry certification. Experience with administration, configuration, and customisation of multiple enterprise level commercial systems including but not limited to Microsoft SQL Server (including AAG) and Microsoft 365 Experience with scripting languages such as Transact SQL and PowerShell. Current ITIL certification. Current driver's licence.
