Senior Systems Admin- Active Directory, Networking Networks & Systems Administration (Information & Communication Technology)
A global trading with a growing presence in Sydney is seeking is currently seeking a Senior Systems Administrator with some AWS exposure to join their team on a permanent basis.
The role will require you to initially work 4 days a week onsite, this will go down to 3 days onsite 2 WFH.
Responsibilities:
Implementing and managing identity and access management solutions, including Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and LDAP integration. Leading and mentoring junior team members, providing technical guidance, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Direct Connect, and network ACLs. Develop and execute comprehensive disaster recovery plans to minimise downtime and data loss. Performing maintenance tasks and updates. Perform hardware upgrades and replacements as needed. Creating and maintaining active directory Improve system and network security Key Skills/ Experience:
Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and LDAP integration. Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools Proficiency in backup software Knowledge of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, BGP, etc.). Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for maintenance tasks (e.g., PowerShell, Bash). Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including but not limited to EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Route 53, CloudFormation. If interested please respond ASAP with your latest resume
