This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the new Education Futures Institute in the Queensland Department of Education. The Education Futures Institute is a key system initiative in the Department's education strategy, Equity and Excellence: Realising the potential of every student, to empower departmental staff, educators, school and system leaders to build professional expertise through high-quality, targeted capability development across their career. The purpose of this role is to provide specialist technical and business analysis expertise to technology-enabled projects that improve the sustainability and effectiveness of targeting, deployment, monitoring, reporting and evaluation of workforce capability development programs and initiatives.

About the Role: The Senior System and Data Analyst in the Capability Branch provides essential technical support, data management and systems implementation.
Key responsibilities include: Manage and maintain Capability branch training records, databases, and process information and prepare correspondence and associated reports. Ensure the accuracy, reliability and security of quality data sets required for analytical and reporting purposes including using R, SQL, SharePoint, Power BI and other reporting tools. Provide timely advice, statistical information and maintain a high degree of accuracy in data entry to ensure quality services that meet the needs of Capability Branch. Provide creative solutions and advice to ensure that all data visualization materials achieve their objectives and communicate effectively to their target audience. About You: The ideal applicant is someone who has:
Demonstrated experience in learning data and systems in a large, complex organisation. Demonstrated ability in quantitative and qualitative data analysis, preferably in a capability program function. Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication and stakeholder communication skills. Interested?
