Senior System Administrator

Responsibilities: Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Perform system monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning to ensure high availability and reliability. Implement and maintain security measures to protect the network from cyber threats and unauthorised access. Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution to minimise downtime. Collaborate with other IT teams to design and implement network upgrades and enhancements. Develop and maintain documentation related to network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Requirements: Active NV1 or Baseline clearance is mandatory. Minimum of 3 years of experience in system administration, with a focus on network administration. Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco networking products, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and DNS. Experience with network monitoring tools and security protocols. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
