You will have exceptional written communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You will have strong project management and time management skills as well as excellent attention to detail. You will be pro-active, motivated and solution focused. This important role will also deliver community engagement and consultation activities to advance Council's sustainability goals. Relocation assistance up to $6,000 is offered. What you should have to apply: Degree (AQF Level 7 or above) in environmental science, sustainability, planning or equivalent qualification in related field. Proven experience in implementing environment and sustainability strategies, behaviour change and other organisational change programs. What's nice to have: Local government experience in a similar role. Strategic land use planning, development assessment or similar planning related experience and qualifications, recognised by the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA). Knowledge of Qld state legislation applicable to implementation of environmental planning, climate and sustainability policy into land use planning.
