The roleWith a financial lens applied to strategic objectives, the Senior Sustainability Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring enhanced sustainability outcomes, as well as uplifting sustainability reporting through the application of financial knowledge and skills.
This newly created role will be critical in managing the transition to reporting under the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards.
What you will be doingDeveloping a thorough understanding of our various sustainability frameworks under which we need to report.Working with stakeholders across the business to prepare for the introduction of the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards.Preparing financial information to be included in Sustainability and Investor reporting.Assisting with the development and maintenance of sustainability dashboards.Various month-end tasks, including month-end processing for our Embedded Networks Accounts.Supporting with the enhancement of processes and outcomes for Sustainability reporting at the asset level, including Embedded Network revenue and expenses, electricity and gas expenses, carbon offsets and energy certificates.Working with our Treasury team on the establishment and reporting for Green Finance.What makes you stand outWe are seeking an experienced finance professional who is currently CA or CPA qualified.
You will have a background in statutory reporting and technical accounting, and be able to transform data into meaningful insights that will support strategic business decision making.
You will have a strong commitment to our Sustainability objectives and policies, as well as enhancing our processes and procedures.
You will be a successful relationship builder, with excellent communication and analytical skills.
You will be able to deliver to and manage tight deadlines, and have the ability to influence and interact with senior stakeholders across the business.
