Role Snap Shot
We are looking for a Senior Surveyor to lead high-level infrastructure projects, including transport, water and building projects. The Senior Surveyor will be responsible for fee proposals, project budgets, and quality assurance of data. This role focuses on guiding and mentoring surveyors while fostering client relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience with Mobile Laser Scanning (MLS), Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS), and UAV technologies.
How You Will Contribute Prepare and coordinate accurate fee proposals in line with Taylors guidelines. Manage project budgets and conduct project gap and WIP analysis to ensure financial targets are met. Guide and mentor junior surveyors, sharing expertise to enhance team capabilities. Oversee the quality assurance of survey data and outputs to ensure high standards are maintained. Collaborate with engineers, government authorities, and other stakeholders to support project completion. Conduct regular project reviews and liaise with the Business Leads to optimise workflow and technology usage. Assist in the production of timely invoices and maintain strong client relationships for repeat engagements. Our Ideal Person!
We would love to hear from you if you have the following: A recognized degree in surveying and extensive field/technical experience (approximately 7+ years preferred). Proven leadership in project coordination, particularly in the Infrastructure/Engineering Survey market. Proficiency in MLS, TLS, and UAV technologies. Strong understanding of project budgets, WIP management, and invoicing processes. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. A commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards in all aspects of your work. A proactive approach to project management, demonstrating autonomy and accountability in your role.
