Senior Surveyor

The Nathan River Resources mine site is located 50km inland from the Gulf of Carpentaria and approximately 760km from Darwin.
We are the proud owner and operator of the Roper Bar Iron Ore Mine, with an in-house mine, marine, and trans-shipment division managing a fleet of mine and marine assets dedicated to our operations.As a result of the remarkable success of our initial operations, we are now seeking a Senior Surveyor to join our team.Key Responsibilities:Provide cutting-edge survey guidance to our mining operations.Monitor and report compliance with the mine excavation and dump plans.Identify potential challenges and present innovative solutions to mitigate variances.Manage site survey equipment, including survey drone, dozer GPS, and supervisor kits.Communicate with the Mining Supervisor, Mining Superintendent, and your Manager about survey control matters within the project.FIFO Roster Ex Darwin is 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off.Desirable Qualifications:Formal qualification in Survey.Proven survey experience within a mining operation.Excellent decision-making and analytical skills.Iron Ore experience is preferred.Preferred experience with Surpac, Pix 4D, Global Mapper, QGIS, and drone processing software.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Surveyor?Do you have mine site experience?Do you have open pit mining experience?What's your expected annual base salary?How much notice are you required to give your current employer?
