Gruyere was commissioned in 2019 and is one of Australia's largest and lowest cost gold mining operations boasting a plant production of 300,000+ ounces per annum with an enviable production profile over 10 years.Reporting to the Supervisor: Supply, you will contribute to the achievement of operational and strategic targets by ensuring minimal disruption to safety and production through the effective supervision of a comprehensive supply function ensuring the timely procurement, receipt, issue, security and storage of materials and equipment.As an employee at Gold Fields, we expect all levels of employees to act in a manner that seeks to align and enhance the values, safety culture and performance of Gold Fields with the purpose of creating enduring value beyond mining.This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.Benefits include:Private Health Insurance Allowance & Quarterly Bonus SchemeSalary sacrifice optionsIncreased annual leave entitlementsEmployee Assistance ProgramLong service leave pro rata after 5 years of continuous serviceAbout the role:Diligently apply and impart knowledge and skills in the leadership of the supply function.Ensure minimal disruption to operations by the timely requisition and receipt of required materials.Maintain a productive working relationship with planning and mechanical personnel, liaising with them to accurately understand their service requirements.Proactively manage stock levels of critical spares and consumables.Maintain a professional, results-oriented team approach.Store inventory received within the warehouse, so it is easily located within SAP.Provide ongoing leadership and mentoring to the Supply team.Conduct stock takes, ensuring sufficient human resources available to deliver the objectives of the task and client service delivery requirements.About you:You will have prior experience in a supply mining environment as a Senior.Current WA Drivers Licence.SAP experience.A high level of communication skills and ability to lead a small team.Gold Fields is committed to achieving an inclusive workforce.
