In this role you will provide effective coordination and performance of Operational Services ensuring compliance with relevant Cleaning Standards, Waste Management, Occupational Health and Safety legislation and Infection Control standards.
This position is accountable and responsible for supporting planning, coordination, evaluation and management of Operational Services at Ipswich Hospital. This position supports the Operational Services Coordinator by coordinating Cleaning Audit systems, Task management Systems (CARPS), daily allocation of staff, reviewing and updating duty statements, policies and procedures. This position may also be required to support other functions within the Operational Support Services Department as required.

High level knowledge and experience working in Operational Services and in the use of appropriate techniques and equipment.Effective interpersonal skills with ability to assist, lead and manage a multidisciplinary team.High level of interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively negotiate, consult and build rapport with a range of stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to successfully manage departmental changesStrong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across a range of electronic mediums.Experience in roster management ensuring compliance with industrial instruments and organisational goals.West Moreton Health is one of the most rapidly evolving health services in the south east corner, with a community growth expected to almost double to more than 588,000 by 2036.
