The Opportunity


We are currently seeking a Senior Supervisor at our Gunnedah Branch. Your main responsibilities will be to plan, organise, lead and control Service operations to meet customer requirements whilst maintaining service sales, profits, budgets and expense control. Your ability to multitask and your exceptional Attention to detail will be imperative. The role will be Monday-Friday based at the Gunnedah Branch Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include: Manage all scheduled and non-scheduled work to ensure efficient utilisation of labour, equipment and resources to effectively deliver the services required by customer support staff and retail customers. Oversee quotations and customer invoicing & authorise payment of supplier invoices. Manage financial and productivity performance of the Service team including preparation of budgets, capital applications, daily controls, and targets within the company's guidelines. Maintain a good working relationship with customers, peers and other departments. Ensure regular meetings are conducted with branch staff to ensure work satisfaction is maintained and provide leadership and coaching to staff members to achieve department goals and KPI's. Liaise with our Corporate Services Group, manufacturers & suppliers on all matters. Ensuring that staff recruitment, induction & training is aligned to meet department needs. To be successful in your application you will need: Excellent communication & Customer Service Skills. High level of enthusiasm, motivation and a preparedness to go the extra mile. Experience in monitoring budgets and allocations. Leadership skills including Managing a team of tradespersons. Experience with Project Management. Sound technical knowledge of mining equipment. Sound Administration and database management experience.
