Based in Perth, join the INPEX Drilling team as a Senior Subsea Engineer on a permanent basis, where you will play an important role in providing engineering expertise to New Field & Carbon Capture and Storage (CSS) projects.
Key responsibilities include: Managing project interfaces and engineering strategies to refine designs from initial concept to detailed stages, ensuring readiness for execution. Providing engineering expertise for CCS subsea wells and related technologies. Providing technical support for critical well engineering activities, such as estimating time and costs, managing risks, conducting design and peer reviews, ensuring technical assurance, verification, and performing operational safety assessments. Developing specifications, scopes of work, reimbursement mechanisms, and schedules for tender documents. Participation in formal safety assessments (HAZID), HAZOPS and operational risk assessments. Successful candidates will: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; or demonstrate competence through experience and industry training. Have proven experience in subsea engineering within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on drilling operations. Have subsea engineering experience related to drilling and completions with an operator, preferably including work on CCS projects. Exhibit a comprehensive technical understanding of subsea equipment, systems, and technologies. Demonstrate effective interpersonal, and communication skills essential for persuasion and stakeholder engagement. Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and diversity in the workplace.
