Urban Design & Planning (Design & Architecture) A Council North of Melbourne is looking for a Senior Subdivisions Planner to join their team until September 2025.

We are currently seeking a Senior Subdivisions Planner to join the Statutory Planning team at a municipality located in Melbourne's Northern suburbs.

Aspect Personnel has been engaged to find council a candidate who can hit the ground running and take on a contract until the end of September 2025.
There is also an opportunity to go permanent for the right person.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the assessment of combined planning and subdivision applications, greenfield subdivisions, project management of major projects and mentoring junior staff.

As the ideal candidate you will have: A degree in Town Planning, or relevant qualifications/experienceCirca 4 plus years' experience assessing subdivision applications, ideally within a Local Government or consultancy environment in Victoria.Experience handling S173 agreements.Solid knowledge of the Subdivisions Act as well as the Victorian Planning Scheme.A commitment to providing outstanding customer serviceExcellent written & verbal communication skills
