About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and committed person to join our community as our Senior Studies Coordinator commencing in Semester One 2025. The Senior Studies Coordinator supports the Assistant Principal – Teaching and Learning in supporting senior students to navigate the Yr 11 and 12 BSSS system including adhering to all policies and procedures. They are an active member of the middle leadership team and support staff to understand requirements for teaching senior students in the ACT. This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on leave or secondment. Demonstrated capability to coordinate a teaching team effectively, to supervise staff across different subject areas, to promote their own and the department's professional development and to work with the staff to effect change. Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills. This includes high-level mediation and conflict resolution skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to build community. The ability to exercise sound judgment, including dealing with confidential matters.
