Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Senior Structure / Remedial Engineer, your office will be based in Hornsby, NSW, with our project sites all around the Sydney region and regional NSW.
As a Senior Structure Engineer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to remedial engineering, structure engineering, design, and consulting services.
Your day-to-day tasks may include conducting site inspections and assessments, analyzing structural issues, preparing declared structure design documentation for remedial and new-build projects, preparing structure monitoring systems plans, producing reports based on data captured by the monitoring systems, undertaking/supervising concrete & structure elements testing, providing recommendations and solutions, preparing comprehensive technical reports, providing advice in relation to structure, facade & waterproofing, and managing projects.
You will work closely with clients, team members, and other professionals to ensure high-quality outcomes and timely delivery of projects.
QualificationsA degree in structural engineeringPrior experience in remedial engineeringNSW fair trading design practitioner registration (Structure)Proficiency in structural analysis, calculations, and design for both remedial and new buildExperience in performing structural assessments, identifying defects, and writing comprehensive reportsExperience in assessing structural, facade, and waterproofing systemsIn-depth knowledge of the building code of Australia and the Australian standardsExperience in preparing structure monitoring systems strategies and regular monitoring reportsStrong technical report writing skillsExperience in project and design managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and strong organisational skillsBusiness development skills are considered an added advantageIf you are a motivated and skilled structure engineer with a passion for remedial engineering and a desire to work on challenging projects, we would love to hear from you.
