Senior Structural Modeler/Digital Professional
Lucid Consulting Australia has a unique and exciting position available for an experienced Structural Modeler/Digital Professional to become a key senior member of the Structural team.
Lucid has recently expanded their offering with the inclusion of Structural engineering services to support the key focus markets of Health, Retail, Defence, Energy and Resource, Industrial, Correctional, and Commercial. This opportunity is to join the structural engineering team and be an integral part of the development and implementation of the structural modelling infrastructure. The position is Perth-based from our central CBD office. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior Structural engineering and Lucid local and national Digital team to implement robust, effective modelling tools and standards. The business has committed to investing in systems and tools which are market-leading in quality, efficiency, innovation, and scalability. This will allow the successful candidate the time and resources to explore and develop new and exciting tools and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Be a key member in the development and implementation of efficient and innovative structural modelling systems and standards.
Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed structural project models and drawings in Revit.
Mentor and guide the structural modelling capability, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our division remains at the cutting edge.
Must Have Requirements:
Strong Revit modelling skills for medium to larger scale structural projects specifically in Lucid's key focus markets including Health, Retail, Defence, Energy and Resource, Industrial.
Australian Citizen (due to likely role working on Australian Defence projects).
A passion for achieving efficiencies by utilizing new and emerging technologies and tools.
Perth Based.
Preferred Skills and Interests:
Experience in developing Revit templates which can be utilized by the wider team.
Interest in using AI to automate tasks and processes.
Programming interest and skills including Dynamo and Macros.
