Senior Structural Engineer

About the Role: Design and analysis of structural systems for brownfields Iron Ore and Materials Handling projects. Oversee and ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and client specifications. Lead and participate in project planning, including timelines, resources, and deliverables. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure structural integrity and design feasibility. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafting teams. Conduct site visits to assess progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure project alignment with engineering designs. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project management to deliver projects on time and within budget. Review and approve detailed design drawings, calculations, and reports. Requirements for the Role: Minimum 7 years' experience in the mining sector. Expertise in Materials Handling and Brownfields Iron Ore projects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to conduct occasional site visits as required. Contract Duration: 12+ months
