Design, Inspect, review and deliver on behalf of the client.
About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our clients team in South Australia for a long term contract.
As a key member of the Infrastructure team, you will play a vital role in the design, construction, and maintenance of critical water infrastructure assets.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding projects while enjoying a flexible work environment and competitive hourly rates.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, analysis, and assessment of various structural elements including concrete structures, steel structures, and earth structures.
Conduct site inspections, investigations, and condition assessments of existing structures.
Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and advancements in structural engineering.
Essential Skills & Experience: Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, preferably within the water industry.
Strong understanding of Australian Standards and relevant codes of practice.
Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD Pro).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
