What's the job?We are looking for a new Senior Structural Engineer to join our Building Structures practice in either our Sydney or Newcastle offices. You will be a vital part of the team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable.
Your role will include:Being the face of Aurecon to our chosen clients.Leading and being a part of teams that undertake and perform design and analysis of concrete/steel building structures of a bespoke and diverse nature.Assisting in the supervision and guidance of younger engineers and overviewing design calculations and details of the other engineers and drafters.Delivering design documentation including drawings, specifications, and reports.Providing construction-phase support on a wide array of projects.What are we looking for from you?You'll have a genuine passion for re-imagining problems and for continuous learning to help shape your future. With at least 5 years' experience in a Structural Engineer role, the ideal candidate will possess the following:
A relevant tertiary degree, such as a bachelor's in civil engineering.Experience working on large-scale multi-disciplinary projects, with a focus on Building Structures.Experience in the Commercial, Health or Education sector will be valued.Strong technical skills in complex structural analysis for bespoke structural designs.Experience in the coaching of emerging talent.How will your future be shaped by us?You really can bring your whole self to work and be confident your voice will be heard.
