About the job We're looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Newcastle team. Y ou will be responsible forengaging in site inspections and will have client interfacing requirements as well as leading a small team and mentoring junior staff. What you'll do The role responsibilities include:
Manage and supervise structural engineering project requirements across various multi-discipline brownfield projects, from conception to commissioning. Engage directly with our clients to ensure a successful delivery of our projects and to continue to build our relationships. Provide technical support within the discipline team, liaise with the project team and consult with relevant resources as required. Provide support to site-based construction and commissioning efforts. Communicate effectively with the engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Client. Innovate appropriate solutions supported by our subject matter experts. What you'll have Bachelor of Structural Engineering (recognised by IEAust). Previous experience in metals, minerals & chemicals or hydrocarbons brownfield engineering design (including familiarity with relevant codes and standards). Efficient in use of structural engineering specific software (eg. SpaceGass, Strand7 etc.) and relevant software such as MS Office Suite. Prior experience in both steelwork and concrete design. Able to identify new business opportunities and lead a small team of junior engineers. Why you should apply Join a fun and inclusive, global team of professionals.
