Senior Structural Engineer

Summary TalentWeb are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our client's team and work directly with the principal engineer and other senior engineers. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in structural analysis and design, who is eager to take on more responsibility and contribute to the company's success. You will have the opportunity to manage and execute your own projects, from client interactions to comprehensive design and documentation. You will also have the opportunity to work on some of Sydney's most interesting residential projects, with unique and complex problems to solve.
Responsibilities Conduct detailed analysis, modelling, and documentation of a diverse range of structures, including concrete, steel, timber, and masonry. Collaborate closely with colleagues and clients, providing expert advice and conducting site inspections. Utilize your technical expertise to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and compliance with industry regulations. Take ownership of projects, managing all aspects from design through to completion. Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (or equivalent). 3+ years of relevant experience in an Australian-based structural consultancy. Experience working in residential structural engineering design. High proficiency in CAD-based drafting software and experience with analytical modelling software (e.g., RCB, SpaceGass).
