We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our Brisbane office, focusing on the independent execution of structural designs.
The Role: We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to independently manage and execute structural design tasks from our Brisbane office. This role is critical for ensuring the high-quality and timely delivery of engineering designs, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural engineering and be comfortable working independently on complex projects.
Key Responsibilities: Independently execute structural design tasks, ensuring adherence to design specifications and standards. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to develop and refine designs. Provide technical expertise and support throughout the design phase, including calculations, modelling, and documentation. Ensure all designs comply with safety requirements and company policies. Identify and resolve design challenges and issues effectively. Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and drawings. Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design requirements are met. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field. 6+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on independent execution of design tasks. Strong understanding of structural design principles and methodologies. Proven ability to manage and execute design projects with minimal supervision. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently.
