Your role will include, but will not be limited to:
Delivering high quality and innovative structural designs and documentation for building structures with medium to large complexity, such as architecturally designed houses, estate development of units/townhouses, and associated facilities such as community centers, gymnasiums, etc.
With potential opportunities to be involved in multi-level building structures and light commercial buildings.
Running projects from concept design to construction within budget and delivery time frame, with support from experienced and collaborative BE teams.
Assisting in client management with existing clients and other relevant project stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
Assisting in developing graduate/junior engineers within the team in alignment with company goals, procedures, and strategy.
Cultivating a sense of client focus in your team's everyday approach to their work, in particular with a sense of responsiveness, delivery on time, and professionalism.
You will add value by having:
A minimum qualification of Bachelor Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
Current RPEQ accreditation.
2-4 years post-grad structural design experience in residential or building industry.
Experience in the design of residential/low rise structural buildings.
Experience in design using timber structures, reinforced concrete, steel structures, designs of waffle, raft, suspended slab, retaining walls, etc.
Proficient in the use of engineering design software tools such as ClearCalcs, Space Gass, Toolkit, Inducta (advantageous), RAPT (advantageous).
An ability to build rapport with clients and project stakeholders.
Advanced ability to interpret the requirements of Australian standards and building codes, design in accordance with AS, AS, AS, AS, AS, NCC, etc.
