What you'll do As a Senior Structural Engineer you will: Project lead work across the design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year/packaged work for turnkey projects; Ensure timely and quality of delivery for project and structural engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards – and in alignment with schedules and budgets; Handle ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients; Manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally; Provide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team; Mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers; Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.
About you The successful candidate we are looking for will have: Typically 6+ years' experience on medium/large Australian building structures engineering projects, e.g.
commercial, retail, defence, health and education; Capacity to manage small-to-medium scale projects autonomously and deliver large-scale projects as part of a team; Excellent steel and post-tensioned (PT) design and inspections skills; Moderate-to-high level of proficiency with such as RAM and RAPT as key engineering software packages; Track record of collaborating effectively with other engineering disciplines on projects; Well versed in liaising effectively with external stakeholders; Understanding of BIM, Navis Works and Revit Structure would be beneficial, but not essential.
