We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-rounded full-time Senior Structural Engineer to work on commercial projects, such as educational, high-rise and public buildings, offices, and sports facilities. The role is based in our Sydney CBD office leading multi-discipline commercial projects ranging between $5M and $50M. Your role will involve: Delivering high-quality and innovative structural designs and documentation for building structures with large complexity, including but not limited to high-rise developments, health, educational and sporting facilities.Leading and managing projects from concept design to construction within budget and delivery time frames.Liaising with architects, project managers, builders, developers, and other relevant project stakeholders across multiple disciplines.Cultivating a sense of client focus in your team's everyday approach to their work, in particular with a sense of responsiveness, delivery on time, and professionalism.Mentoring and developing engineers, contributing to growing the structural team and growing the portfolio of clients.Delivering technically accurate, cost-effective, and optimum designs in accordance with Australian standards.Contributing towards innovation and technical improvement of projects and designs.To be successful in this role you will: Strong track record of accomplishment including +7 years of experience across large-scale commercial building structures.Thorough working knowledge of ETABS, Ram Concept, RAPT, and Spacegass.A strong track record of being able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team, including mentoring junior colleagues.An inquisitive mindset that is always looking for ways to be innovative in problem-solving.Strong organisational and time management skills allowing you to juggle a range of interesting projects at any one time.Well-honed knowledge in the interpretation and application of Australian standards and building codes.Exceptional influencing and negotiating skills working with a variety of people from all walks of life, including an ability to quickly build rapport and gain trust.A drive and determination that allows you to flourish and thrive in a learning environment.Bachelor's Degree in civil/structural Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.By joining the team at Intrax, you will have access to a range of benefits: Professional Development Support – further education, leadership development, and access to a range of online training.Options for flexible and hybrid work.Up to 4 weeks additional purchased annual leave.Generous parental leave entitlements – 12 weeks full pay for primary and 4 weeks secondary carer.Volunteer Leave.Health & Wellbeing Programs.Employee Assistance Program.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
